About the Family
A warm, energetic, entrepreneurial family in Littleton is searching for an exceptional full-time nanny to become an important part of their household for the next several years.
With three young children, busy professional schedules, and a home full of energy, creativity, and imagination, this family is looking for someone who can bring a wonderful combination of nurturing childcare, confident leadership, organization, and initiative into their daily lives.
Both parents are entrepreneurs who split their time between working from home and their respective offices. Their professional responsibilities require a high level of flexibility and focus, making reliability and consistency especially important.
They are looking for someone they can wholeheartedly depend on — a nanny who arrives ready to take ownership of the day, confidently manages the children's routines, and helps create a positive, organized, and engaging home environment.
The family has three children, ranging in age from infancy to approximately five years old.
The nanny's primary responsibility will be caring for the family's 5-month-old infant and toddler, as their oldest child currently attends school.
However, the ideal candidate must also be completely comfortable and experienced caring for all three children simultaneously. This may occur during school breaks, summer vacation, non-school days, school closures, or when additional coverage is needed.
The family also has a dog and may welcome a cat into their home in the future. Candidates must be comfortable around household pets and should not have cat allergies that would prevent them from working in a home with a cat.
This is a Christian household where faith and family values are an important part of daily life. The parents would love to find a nanny who shares their Christian values and feels comfortable supporting the principles they are instilling in their children.
Above all, this family wants to find someone who will grow alongside them, build meaningful relationships with their children, and become a trusted, consistent presence in their lives.
About the Position
This is a childcare-focused career nanny position with light family assistant responsibilities.
The family is not looking for someone who simply follows a schedule, supervises the children, and waits for instructions.
They are searching for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, recognizes opportunities to improve the household's daily routines, and naturally takes initiative.
The ideal nanny understands that excellent childcare involves much more than meeting basic needs. It means fostering creativity, encouraging independence, creating meaningful learning opportunities, establishing consistent routines, and helping children develop confidence and important life skills.
The family places tremendous value on imaginative play and hands-on engagement.
Their children love creativity, pretend play, interactive activities, and opportunities to explore the world around them.
A nanny who is excited to get down on the floor, build elaborate imaginary worlds, turn cleaning up toys into a fun game, and find joy in everyday moments will thrive in this home.
The family is especially drawn to candidates who have a naturally playful personality but also know how to confidently establish boundaries and maintain structure.
They are looking for someone who can balance being fun, silly, and engaging with being a calm, consistent, and respected authority figure.
While childcare will always remain the priority, the family would also appreciate someone who can use appropriate downtime, particularly during the children's naps, to assist with light household responsibilities and organization.
This is not a housekeeping position. Rather, the family is looking for a proactive nanny who enjoys contributing to the overall functionality of the home and understands how much of a difference the little things can make.
Primary Responsibilities
Childcare & Child Development
Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for the family's infant, toddler, and occasionally their school-aged child.
Confidently manage the needs of multiple children at once, including balancing infant care with the activities and routines of older siblings.
Establish and maintain consistent daily routines surrounding meals, naps, playtime, outings, and transitions.
Plan creative, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, curiosity, independence, and imagination.
Incorporate sensory activities, arts and crafts, reading, music, outdoor play, and imaginative games into the children's days.
Encourage developmental milestones through intentional, hands-on engagement.
Facilitate age-appropriate learning opportunities without relying heavily on screens or passive entertainment.
Support positive behavior, emotional regulation, and age-appropriate boundaries.
Help children develop independence and responsibility by making everyday tasks fun and engaging.
Encourage children to participate in age-appropriate cleanup, organization, and daily routines.
Assist with school pickups, transportation to activities, and other child-related outings as needed.
Plan engaging activities for all three children during school breaks, summer vacation, and non-school days.
Prepare nutritious meals, snacks, and bottles for the children.
Maintain clean and organized children's spaces, including playrooms, bedrooms, and activity areas.
Communicate openly with parents regarding developmental milestones, behavioral observations, daily activities, and any concerns.
Household Organization & Family Assistant Support
The family is looking for someone who naturally notices what needs to be done and takes initiative without needing a detailed list of instructions every day.
When the children are napping or otherwise safely occupied, and after allowing for appropriate breaks, responsibilities may include:
Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
Keeping the kitchen tidy and resetting common areas throughout the day.
Cycling laundry, including starting loads, transferring items to the dryer, folding, and putting clothing away.
Maintaining organization in the children's bedrooms, playroom, and shared living spaces.
Creating and maintaining practical organizational systems that make daily routines more efficient.
Rotating toys, organizing children's belongings, and keeping play spaces functional.
Keeping children's clothing, shoes, and supplies organized as they grow.
Noticing when household or children's supplies are running low and communicating those needs to the parents.
Helping prepare for the following day by organizing children's belongings, school items, and necessary supplies.
Assisting with light meal preparation and general kitchen organization as time permits.
Identifying opportunities to streamline routines and proactively offering solutions.
Taking ownership of everyday household tasks within the agreed-upon scope of the role.
The ideal candidate will be someone who sees a dishwasher that needs unloading, laundry that needs transferring, or a playroom that needs resetting and naturally takes care of it without being asked.
The family values efficiency, organization, and initiative, but they also recognize that childcare comes first and that household responsibilities should be completed only when time and the children's needs allow.
Travel, Overnight Care & Additional Flexibility
The family enjoys traveling and is seeking someone who is genuinely comfortable accompanying them on trips multiple times throughout the year.
Travel responsibilities may include:
Accompanying the family on domestic and potentially international trips.
Providing childcare during travel days and throughout the trip according to an agreed-upon schedule.
Helping maintain the children's routines while away from home.
Assisting with packing, unpacking, and organizing children's travel essentials.
Planning activities and keeping children engaged during flights, road trips, and vacations.
Providing occasional evening or overnight care when needed.
Maintaining a calm, flexible, and positive attitude when traveling or navigating changes in routine.
The family is also hoping to find someone who is open to occasional date-night coverage and overnight care throughout the year.
While these needs will not necessarily occur every week, a willingness to accommodate occasional travel, evenings, and overnight responsibilities is an important component of the position.
The family will communicate scheduling needs as far in advance as possible, and all additional compensation, travel expenses, overnight arrangements, and applicable overtime will be discussed and agreed upon beforehand.

Enjoys creating and maintaining household systems.

Comfortable supporting the family's Christian values and household expectations.

Creative, Hands-On Childhood

Confidence & Consistency
The parents appreciate caregivers who are nurturing but also capable of setting and maintaining clear boundaries. They believe children thrive when they know what to expect and feel secure in their daily routines.

Who Will Thrive in This Position?
This opportunity would be an excellent fit for a seasoned career nanny who genuinely loves the energy and excitement of caring for young children but also enjoys the organization and responsibility that come with helping a household run smoothly.
Someone who can spend the morning creating an elaborate imaginary adventure with a toddler, seamlessly transition into caring for an infant, confidently manage three children during a busy afternoon, and take initiative to reset the kitchen during nap time will be especially successful.
The family is looking for someone who is:
Playful enough to make everyday moments magical.
Confident enough to lead with consistency and kindness.
Organized enough to anticipate needs and create structure.
Reliable enough to become someone the family can truly depend on.
