My passion for working with children began long before Peak Nanny Agency existed. As a child, I was the one organizing neighborhood "classrooms" in the basement and spending every summer babysitting. That passion ultimately led me to earn dual degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education, along with a minor in Communications. During college, I worked in childcare settings ranging from preschools and daycare centers to mentoring programs and private babysitting, gaining hands-on experience with children of all ages and developmental stages.
After graduation, I began my career as a classroom teacher. While I loved working directly with children, I quickly realized that my greatest fulfillment came from building deeper, more personalized relationships with families. When I was offered the opportunity to nanny for one of my former students, I discovered a career that combined everything I loved about education, child development, and family support.
Over the next decade, I worked as a professional nanny for a variety of families, caring for children from infancy through adolescence. I traveled with families, supported developmental milestones, navigated household routines, and became a trusted partner to parents during some of the most important years of their children's lives. Those experiences gave me a firsthand understanding of the trust families place in their caregivers—and the profound impact the right childcare professional can have on an entire household.
Throughout my nanny career, I noticed a recurring challenge. Families were constantly searching for exceptional caregivers they could trust, while highly qualified nannies struggled to find positions that truly valued their experience and expertise. I saw an opportunity to bridge that gap by creating a personalized, relationship-focused placement agency built on integrity, transparency, and high standards.
That's why I founded Peak Nanny Agency.
Today, Peak Nanny Agency helps families throughout Colorado find exceptional household professionals, including nannies, household managers, family assistants, housekeepers, and other trusted caregivers. Drawing from my background in education, child development, and over a decade of professional nanny experience, I understand both sides of the hiring process and the factors that contribute to successful, long-term placements.
My approach goes beyond reviewing resumes and conducting interviews. I take the time to understand each family's unique needs, values, and lifestyle while thoroughly vetting every candidate we represent. By focusing on compatibility, professionalism, and long-term success, I strive to create placements that bring confidence, support, and peace of mind to the families we serve.
Whether you're a family seeking trusted household support or a professional caregiver looking for your next opportunity, I'm honored to be part of your journey and look forward to helping you find the right fit.
