Full-Time Career Nanny Needed for Two Adorable Boys in Aurora

Start Date: Late June to Mid-July 2025
Location: Aurora, CO (with potential move to South/Central Denver within the next year)
Compensation: $28–$31/hour + benefits (see below)

A dual-physician family, fresh out of residency and ready for their next adventure, is looking for a warm, experienced, and engaging full-time nanny to help care for their two young boys! This is a long-term position for a professional caregiver who’s passionate about early childhood development, loves to be out and about, and is ready to become an integral member of a growing family.

About the Children:

• Oldest (2 years in July):
  A bright, inquisitive, and empathetic toddler who loves learning and exploring. He’s already mastered the alphabet, shapes, and numbers, and thrives on structured independence. He loves outings and learning through experience—so a nanny excited to take him on little adventures is ideal.

• Youngest (2 months):
  A sweet, calm, and easygoing baby who is just beginning to explore the world around him. Healthy, happy, and on a regular routine.

Ideal Candidate:

The family is seeking a career nanny who:

• Has experience caring for multiple children, especially infants and toddlers

• Is warm, nurturing, and highly communicative

• Has a strong interest in early childhood education (formal or informal)

• Values emotional intelligence, mutual respect, and child-led learning

• Can confidently manage a flexible schedule and occasional long days

• Is comfortable taking initiative and providing feedback as a collaborative partner in raising the boys

• Is dog-friendly (the family may add a furry friend in the future!)

Bonus if you’re familiar with or aligned with parenting philosophies like “Good Inside”—the family focuses on respectful, developmentally informed boundaries and sees their nanny as a true partner in parenting.

Schedule:

• Guaranteed 40 hours/week averaged over 4 weeks

• Some weeks may be lighter or heavier depending on parents' schedules (provided at least 6 weeks in advance)

• Early mornings required some days and one weekend/month is non-negotiable

• Flexibility is a must; additional pay is provided for weekend hours

• Occasional evening support/date nights requested

Benefits:

• $28–$31/hour DOE

• 14 days PTO

• 5 sick days

Additional Responsibilities:

• Child-related housekeeping (children’s laundry, dishes, tidying play areas)

• Meal/snack prep for the boys

Requirements:

• 1-year minimum commitment (would love somebody for 3+ years)

• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations required

• Infant and toddler experience

• Excellent references

• Reliable transportation (must be comfortable with a potential future move to South/Central Denver)
