Full-Time Nanny (Knowledge of Japanese Culture a Plus – Fluency Not Required)

Location: Longmont, CO
Schedule: Monday – Friday, flexible hours between 7am – 7pm (some early mornings, after-school hours, and occasional evenings/weekends)
Compensation: $32+/hour, guaranteed 40 hours/week, PTO, sick time, paid holidays

About the Role:

A warm, active family in Longmont, CO, is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and engaging full-time nanny for their three children (ages 9, 7, and 5). The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a genuine interest in creating a fun, supportive, and educational environment. While fluency in Japanese is not required, a familiarity with Japanese culture and a willingness to support cultural and language exposure are greatly appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time care and supervision of the children

• Assist with school drop-offs/pickups and after-school routines

• Help with homeschool and enrichment activities (mom leads homeschooling but needs hands-on support)

• Support the family with light household tasks (children’s laundry, organizing, tidying up)

• Encourage creative play, social-emotional development, and active learning

• Be open to occasional travel with the family (domestic/international)

• Provide coverage for occasional date nights or weekend hours with advance notice

Ideal Candidate:

• Warm, organized, and dependable with a genuine love for working with children

• Previous nanny or childcare experience required

• Background in education or child development is a plus

• Comfortable supporting a culturally rich household

• Open to working in partnership with a stay-at-home parent

• Valid driver’s license (family vehicle provided during work hours)
