About the Kids

Son: Turning 7 in June
Daughter: Age 4

Both children are potty trained, active, and love spending time outdoors. They enjoy building, drawing, swimming, and hands-on play. They are curious, energetic kids who do best with a nanny who is confident, engaging, and able to balance structure with flexibility.

The children will be in summer camp from late May through mid-August, so the nanny’s day will typically begin with camp pickup around 3:30–4:00 PM.

Typical Afternoon

A typical day may include:

• Picking the kids up from camp
• Bringing them to the country club to swim or do a variety of different activities
• Supervising swimming and pool time
• Preparing and feeding the kids dinner
• Driving them home
• Helping with evening routine (pajamas, winding down, etc.)

A family vehicle will be provided for all driving related to the job.

Pets

The family has an 8-month-old puppy who is very chill and affectionate. He is often in daycare during the day but may occasionally be home, so the nanny must be comfortable around dogs.

Allergies & Safety

The daughter has a severe peanut allergy.

• The family keeps a strict peanut-free home
• The nanny must carry an Epipen when out with the children
• The family will provide clear instructions on allergy management

Both children also have inhalers for asthma if needed.

Ideal Nanny

The family is looking for someone who is:

  • Fun, engaging, and energetic

  • Confident supervising kids in active environments

  • Flexible and easygoing while still maintaining structure

  • Comfortable swimming and supervising children in the pool

  • Responsible, organized, and proactive

Bonus: Familiarity with country club environments is a plus (expectations around pool safety, behavior, and attire such as full-coverage swimwear).

Requirements

  • Strong swimmer and comfortable supervising children in water

  • Safe and confident driver

  • Comfortable with dogs

  • Non-smoker

  • Able to safely manage food allergies and carry an Epipen

  • Ready to have a fun summer with two great kids

Family Environment

This is a warm, relaxed Boulder family that values kindness, communication, and professionalism. They want their nanny to feel like part of the family while also taking pride in their role and responsibilities.
