💰 $30/hour

A warm and welcoming family in Arvada is seeking a temporary nanny for the month of June to primarily care for their energetic and playful 17-month-old son while mom is home on maternity leave caring for a newborn. This role is ideal for a nanny who genuinely enjoys the toddler stage, loves planning engaging activities, and is comfortable working collaboratively alongside parents who will be home.

The family is looking for someone nurturing, interactive, and proactive who can provide lots of attention, structure, and fun outings for their toddler during this transition period as the family adjusts to life with a new baby.

About the Family

The family recently welcomed a newborn and would love support ensuring their toddler continues receiving plenty of one-on-one engagement, enrichment, and active play throughout the day. Both parents will be present during working hours (dad works from home and mom is on maternity leave). Mom will primarily be focused on caring for the newborn.

They value a nanny who is warm, dependable, communicative, and comfortable stepping into a collaborative household dynamic.

    • Tidying toys and play areas

    • Loading/unloading dishes as needed

    • Throwing in occasional laundry loads

The ideal nanny for this family is:

  • Experienced with toddlers and infants

  • Engaging, playful, and active

  • Comfortable working in a home where parents are present

  • Proactive and able to take initiative throughout the day

  • Familiar with or open to using simple sign language with toddlers

  • Comfortable transporting children to nearby outings and activities
