Full-Time Nanny + Household Manager For Dual Physcian Household | DU Neighborhood (Denver, CO)
A warm, laid-back family located near the DU neighborhood of Denver is seeking a full-time nanny/household manager to support their two children and busy household. This is a long-term opportunity (1+ year) with a collaborative, respectful family who values reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
Split shift schedule:
Mornings: 6:30 AM – ~9:00/9:30 AM (school/daycare drop-off)
Afternoons: ~2:30 PM – 6:00 PM (school pick-up until parent returns)
Guaranteed 40 hours/week
Additional hours filled with household management tasks during school hours
Flexibility needed for:
School holidays
Sick days
Occasional schedule shifts due to parents’ variable work schedules
Start Date
Late September 2026
Short overlap with current au pair to support a smooth transition
Compensation & Benefits
$28+/hour DOE
Guaranteed hours
2 weeks paid vacation

Use of family vehicle (minivan) for all on-the-job driving
Potential opportunity to travel with the family (optional, expenses covered)
Flexible structure during mid-day household hours
Children
Two children:
Older child (6 at start): Bright, thrives with routine, loves imaginative play (currently into Paw Patrol)
Younger child (4 at start): Smart, easygoing, playful, loves trucks, construction play, and being outdoors (can take a few weeks to warm up to somebody knew, but once you have won him over - he is the funniest, sweetest kid ever).
Both children are active, social, and enjoy parks, sports, and neighborhood play
Responsibilities
Childcare:
Morning school/daycare drop-offs
Afternoon school pick-ups
Engaging, age-appropriate play and activities
Outdoor time (parks, neighborhood play, etc.)
Supporting routines and structure after school
Managing occasional full days during school closures or illness
Household Management (during school hours):
Family laundry
Grocery shopping and errands
Meal prep for the family
General household organization and tidying
Proactively identifying and completing tasks as needed
Home Environment
Two large, friendly German Shepherds (must be comfortable with dogs and pet hair)
Family car provided for all driving responsibilities
Busy dual-physician household with changing weekly schedules
Ideal Nanny
Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
Self-motivated and proactive (able to anticipate needs without direction)
Warm, loving, and engaging with children
Energetic and comfortable managing active kids
Flexible and adaptable to a changing schedule
Comfortable supporting household operations independently
Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
Additional Requirements
Non-smoker (including no residual smoke smell)
Comfortable driving children (clean driving record preferred)
Up-to-date on vaccinations (Flu, MMR, Tdap)
