Part-Time Nanny / Household Manager Needed in Parker, CO (Mon - Thursday, 28 hours a week)

A thoughtful and values-driven family in Parker, Colorado is seeking a warm, reliable, and highly organized part-time nanny/household support professional to help support their home and care for their three children. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing childcare with home management responsibilities and is comfortable working collaboratively alongside a stay-at-home parent in a dynamic household.

The family places a high value on creating a calm, organized, and nurturing home environment and is looking for someone who can help support the household so the parents can be more present and engaged with their children.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday
8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (28 hours/week)
Some flexibility available for the right candidate.

Children

  • 7-year-old (rides the bus to school each morning)

  • 3-year-old

  • 1-year-old

Mom walks the oldest child to the bus stop each morning around 8:00 AM while the nanny begins the day with the younger children.

Mom is a stay-at-home parent who is very involved with the children, so the nanny will sometimes work alongside her. The ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating while maintaining clear professional boundaries, communication, and initiative.

Responsibilities

Childcare

  • Engaging and attentive care for the younger children during the day

  • Supporting age-appropriate development through play, reading, and activities

  • Taking children on outings (parks, activities, etc.)

  • Maintaining a structured, calm environment with clear boundaries

  • Providing daily updates or tracking of the children’s activities

Household Support / Home Management

  • Children’s laundry

  • Light tidying and organization of children’s areas and shared spaces

  • Basic meal prep for the children and occasional family support

  • Light errands when needed

  • Helping maintain a smoothly functioning household

Household Details

  • 1 cat in the home

  • Cameras are located in the nursery and outdoors only (indoor cameras used occasionally if needed)

Ideal Candidate

The ideal nanny will be:

  • Organized and comfortable with home management tasks

  • Warm, patient, and emotionally attuned

  • Comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home parent

  • Able to discern priorities and manage multiple responsibilities

  • Supportive of the family’s parenting approach, which incorporates Love & Logic principles (empathy, clear boundaries, and natural consequences)

  • Open to travel with the family when needed (viewed as a bonus, but not required) 

Transportation

The nanny may use the family vehicle for outings when available. If using their own vehicle, it must be safe, properly insured, and compatible with car seat installation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $27 – $32/hour depending on experience

  • Payroll preferred (cash option may be discussed)

  • Guaranteed hours

  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick days, and holidays

Additional Details

  • Position is intended to be long-term (1+ year)

  • MMR vaccine preferred

This role exists to support the entire family system—helping the household run smoothly while supporting the children’s emotional and developmental needs. By helping provide structure and support in the home, the nanny enables the parents to show up with greater presence, joy, and connection with their children.
