Part-Time Nanny / Family Driver (20 Hours Per Week)

A private family is seeking an exceptionally reliable and safety-conscious Part-Time Nanny / Family Driver to transport their school-age children to and from school, sports practices, games, and extracurricular activities.
This is primarily a transportation and childcare support position. The family is looking for someone who enjoys working with school-age children, is an excellent driver, and can reliably ensure the children arrive safely and on time.
A family vehicle will be provided for all driving while on duty.
Schedule & Availability
Candidates must have reliable availability for:
Weekday afternoon school pickups
After-school activities and sports
Some weekday evening practices and activities
Weekend soccer games and practices during soccer season — REQUIRED
Weekend availability during soccer season is an essential part of this position—not occasional backup coverage. Candidates who are unavailable to work weekends during soccer season will not be a fit for this role.
Exact hours will vary according to the children’s school, activity, and sports schedules.
A typical shift may involve picking a child up from school and bringing them home or directly to an activity, transporting another child to an evening practice, or driving a child to and from a weekend soccer game.
Primary Responsibilities
Pick the children up from school on time
Drive the children to and from after-school activities
Transport the children to sports practices and evening activities
Provide transportation to weekend soccer games and practices during soccer season
Ensure the children arrive safely and on time
Keep track of pickup times, practices, games, locations, and schedule changes
Ensure the children have their backpacks, sports bags, cleats, uniforms, water bottles, equipment, and other necessary belongings
Communicate promptly with the parents and household staff regarding pickups, drop-offs, delays, and schedule changes
Appropriately supervise the children while they are in the nanny’s care
Keep the family vehicle clean and tidy after use
Family Vehicle Provided
All transportation for the children will be completed in a family-provided vehicle.
Candidates must have:
A valid driver’s license
An excellent driving record
Strong and confident driving skills
Experience safely transporting children
Good judgment regarding traffic, weather, and road conditions
The ability to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record check

During soccer season, weekend sports coverage is a required part of the position.

Compensation: $30–$35/hour DOE
Guaranteed Hours: 20 Per Week, Would Love Someone Open to Working 25 Hours Per Week When Needed
