Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant l Wash Park | Denver, CO I Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (30 Guaranteed Hours)

A warm, welcoming family in the Wash Park neighborhood is looking for an experienced, proactive Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant to become an important part of their family for years to come. Their current nanny has been with them for the past year, but as the family's needs evolve, they are transitioning to a part-time schedule and are excited to find their next long-term fit. They hope to find someone who can grow alongside their family over the next 2-3 years.

This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys balancing childcare with household management. The afternoons begin with family assistant responsibilities while the children are in school, followed by after-school care, transportation to activities, homework support, dinner preparation, and helping the evenings run smoothly.

About the Family

This active family has two school-aged daughters (ages 9 and 6) who are involved in a variety of activities, including soccer, gymnastics, drama, swimming, and more. They enjoy crafts, cooking, reading, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends. Their weekdays are busy with school, tutoring, and extracurricular activities, while weekends are often spent skiing in the mountains during the winter, enjoying family dinners with friends, visiting parks, riding bikes, traveling, or simply spending quality time together.

The oldest daughter has dyslexia, mild ADHD, & anxiety, and the family would love to find someone who has experience supporting neurodivergent children or is eager to learn. They have found it especially valuable to have a caregiver who can recognize signs of overstimulation, fatigue, or emotional dysregulation and respond with patience and confidence.

The parents are hands-on and actively involved but believe that when they are working, the nanny should confidently take the lead. Mom owns her own business and works both from home and at an office, while Dad works a hybrid schedule in finance and frequently travels 1–3 nights each week.

The family practices a respectful parenting approach centered around communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving. They are looking for a nanny who shares these values and will become a trusted extension of their family.
