Household Manager / Infant Nanny Needed Sloans Lake Neighborhood - 30 Hours Per Week
A warm, thoughtful family in Denver’s Sloans Lake neighborhood is seeking an experienced Household Manager / Infant Nanny to join their family beginning early April. They recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl, and are looking for a confident, proactive professional who can support both their infant and the smooth running of their household during this important first year.
This role is ideal for someone who has done this before—a caregiver who understands infant development, takes initiative, and is comfortable stepping in where help is needed, especially when one or both parents are home with the baby.
Schedule & Commitment
30 hours per week to start
Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm
There is potential for this role to grow to 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday) as the family’s needs evolve
The family hopes to work with a nanny for approximately 15 months, with plans to transition their child to daycare around 18 months of age
Role Overview
This position is a blend of infant care and household management. While the baby is always the top priority, the family is looking for someone who is comfortable assisting with household tasks during downtime—particularly when mom and/or dad are caring for the baby, or baby is napping.
The family understands that as mom returns to full-time work and the baby becomes more active, availability for household tasks may decrease. Flexibility and the ability to help when time allows is key.
Infant Care Responsibilities
Provide attentive, nurturing, developmentally appropriate care for an infant
Support early milestones including crawling, walking, feeding transitions, baby-led weaning, breastfeeding and bottle feeding
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and outings
Track and communicate daily updates including sleep, feedings, milestones, and general observations
Serve as a knowledgeable partner to first-time parents, helping them confidently navigate their baby’s first two years.
Household Management Support (as time allows)
Grocery shopping and errands
Meal prep and light cooking
Loading and unloading the dishwasher
Light organization and tidying related to the household
Dropping off packages or returns
Taking the family dog to grooming appointments as needed
This list is not all encompassing and somebody that is adaptable and flexible in regards to this - will be viewed as a positive candidate

Proactive and self-directed—someone who sees what needs to be done without being asked
Calm, warm, and communicative
Flexible and adaptable as the family’s needs evolve
Comfortable working in a home where both parents work full-time from home
Open to occasional date nights, overnights, and future travel
