A warm, active family in Brighton is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their two young children—a 2.5-year-old girl and a 6-month-old boy. Both parents work full-time (dad works from home; mom has a hybrid schedule) and are looking for a dependable, engaging nanny who can confidently manage both age groups.

The family values a balance of structure and flexibility—they are loving, supportive, and health-focused, with an emphasis on raising active, resilient, and happy children. They encourage independence and outdoor play and are looking for a nanny who aligns with this approach.

They live on 2 acres and enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle. Their children are used to staying busy, exploring, and learning through play.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Active, energetic, and enjoys being outdoors

  • Confident caring for both infants and toddlers

  • Fun, engaging, and nurturing while maintaining consistency and structure

  • Proactive, organized, and dependable

  • Interested in a long-term role (1–3 years preferred)

  • Comfortable facilitating outings and social activities for the children (once trust is established)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive care for both children (feeding, diapering, changing, etc.)

  • Plan and engage in at least one outdoor activity daily

  • Incorporate one learning or enrichment activity per day (e.g., arts & crafts, numbers, nature exploration, sports, etc.)

  • Prepare healthy meals/snacks for the children

  • Maintain a tidy and organized environment related to the children

Household Support (Child-Related + Light Household Tasks)

  • Clean up after meals (dishes washed, dried, and put away)

  • Light kitchen and household tidying

  • Organizing children’s spaces (bedrooms, toys, common areas)

  • Children’s laundry

  • Occasional grocery shopping

  • Packing/unpacking for family trips

  • Bathing children as needed

  • Vacuuming and general upkeep

During Nap Time:

  • Reset kitchen and common areas

  • Check and restock diapering supplies

  • Empty dishwasher if needed

  • Take out diaper pail

  • Assist with light meal prep

Additional Details

  • Pets: 3 friendly cats (no care required)

  • Dad is home but typically stays out of the way during the workday
