About the Family
This warm, playful, and high-energy Littleton family is seeking a long-term nanny to grow with them as they welcome their third child (due end of June).
They currently have two active, social children:
Older child (turning 4 in July): Curious, bright, and highly engaged in activities
Younger child (just turned 2): Adventurous, affectionate, and always on the move
Both children are potty trained and thrive on structure balanced with flexibility. Their days are filled with a variety of enriching activities that rotate seasonally, including karate, gymnastics, swim, indoor ski, music, dance, soccer, and art.
Mom and Dad split time between home and the office. The family values collaboration and is excited to partner with their next nanny to establish a smooth rhythm, especially with a newborn joining the mix.
The household also includes a friendly dog, two chickens, and plans to add a cat in the future.
The Role
This position is primarily focused on attentive, engaging childcare, with additional light household support related to the children.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities (play, outings, learning experiences)
Supporting a future rhythm that includes a newborn, toddler, and preschooler
Transporting children to activities (reliable vehicle required; family vehicle may be available if needed)
Light children’s meal prep
Children’s laundry (occasional folding/put-away)
Toy organization, clean-up, and rotation
Proactive communication (e.g., noticing low supplies, keeping parents informed)
Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for a long-term nanny (1+ year commitment, ideally longer) who is:
Warm, nurturing, and high-energy with a positive, upbeat presence
Engaging, playful, and naturally interactive with young children
Organized yet flexible and adaptable
Comfortable working alongside work-from-home parents
A safe, confident driver with a clean record (additional discussion around driving history will be part of the process)
Comfortable caring for children through typical childhood illnesses (with clear communication and agreed-upon boundaries)
Bonus Qualifications (Not Required)
Background in education or teaching
Interest in or experience with homeschooling
Willingness to collaborate on light learning structure/activities
Open to occasionally facilitating small-group learning with 1–2 additional children (with additional compensation)
Family Values & Fit
The family is thoughtful about finding the right long-term fit and values open communication and alignment. Important considerations include:
A positive, can-do attitude and emotionally steady presence
Comfort with a household that leans toward natural/alternative health approaches
Respect for and alignment with a Christian faith-based household
Clear communication around illness comfort levels and expectations
Additional Opportunities
Optional: occasional date nights, overnights, or travel
If you’re an engaging, proactive nanny who loves being part of a family team and is excited to grow alongside a busy, joyful household, this could be a wonderful long-term fit.
