Join a Loving Family Looking for a Long-Term Partner
A warm, welcoming family in Denver's Lowry neighborhood is searching for an experienced, nurturing infant nanny to care for their happy, social 7-month-old son. This is a wonderful opportunity for a career nanny who loves the infant stage and is looking to build a long-term relationship with a family that truly values collaboration, trust, and open communication.
Their son is an easygoing, smiley little boy who loves people, new experiences, and interactive play. The family hopes to continue growing in the future, making this an excellent opportunity for someone interested in becoming a lasting part of their lives.
About the Family
This family describes themselves as laid-back, flexible, and family-oriented. They enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking together, exploring Denver, and creating meaningful experiences as a family.
Both parents work remotely from dedicated home offices in a spacious home. While Mom continues breastfeeding during the day, she and the nanny will coordinate feedings as needed, with pumped bottles available whenever Mom is unavailable. The parents are intentional about respecting the nanny's workspace and independence while remaining available whenever support is needed.
They are looking for someone who will confidently take ownership of the day, create engaging routines, and use their professional experience to help establish consistency for their growing little one.
The Ideal Nanny
The family is searching for someone who is:
Warm, loving, and genuinely enjoys caring for infants
Safe, dependable, and highly attentive
Proactive and comfortable working independently
Intuitive and confident making thoughtful decisions throughout the day
Organized and able to establish and maintain healthy routines
Developmentally minded and passionate about play-based learning
Collaborative, communicative, and comfortable sharing ideas and professional insight
Excited to spend the day smiling, playing, reading, singing, and helping a sweet little boy learn and grow
Somebody with ECE experience is a huge plus
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include providing attentive, loving care while creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally enriching environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
Planning age-appropriate activities and developmental play
Maintaining a consistent schedule for naps, feedings, and daily routines
Providing daily updates regarding feedings, naps, milestones, and activities
Preparing meals and bottles for the child as he grows
Child-related laundry
Cleaning bottles, highchair, dishes, and play areas
Tidying spaces used throughout the day
Taking the child on outings to parks, libraries, story times, and other age-appropriate activities
Supporting developmental milestones through intentional play and exploration
Travel Opportunities
The family would love to find someone who is open to occasional travel (not a requirement). Mom travels to New York several days each month for work, and Dad and baby often accompany her. The nanny may have the opportunity to travel with the family, though if the entire family travels without childcare needs, those days may become additional paid time off.
Additional Information
No pets.
Household keeps kosher, and the family is happy to provide guidance and support with kitchen expectations.
Cameras are present in the home, and the family is committed to full transparency regarding their locations.
A family vehicle may occasionally be available for outings, though the nanny should have reliable personal transportation to and from work. Mileage reimbursement is provided whenever the nanny uses their own vehicle while caring for the child.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous professional infant nanny experience
CPR and First Aid Certification
Reliable transportation
Non-smoking lifestyle
Willingness to work as a W-2 household employee
Current standard childcare vaccinations (excluding the most recent COVID booster)
ECE experience is a major bonus
Why This Position Stands Out
This family truly values the expertise a professional nanny brings. They are looking for more than someone to supervise their child—they hope to find a trusted partner who will confidently guide their son's daily routine, support his development, and become an important part of their family's journey.
If you're looking for a position where your experience is respected, your ideas are welcomed, and you can build a meaningful long-term relationship with a wonderful family, this may be the perfect opportunity.
