32 Hours A Week - Nanny Needed for Infant | South Denver | June 2026 Start
A warm, active, and laid-back family in South Denver is seeking a nurturing and reliable nanny for their daughter, who will be 11 months old at the start of care. This is a long-term position (2+ years) with a family that values strong communication, trust, and a collaborative, respectful relationship with their nanny.
Schedule
Approximately 30–34 hours per week (guaranteed ~32 hours)
Schedule varies week-to-week based on parents’ medical schedules
General structure:
Monday: 7:30am–4:30pm
Tuesday: 8:30am–2:30pm
Wednesday: 7:30am–1:30pm/3:30pm
Thursday: 8:30am - 1:30pm
Friday: 7:30am–1:30pm
Flexibility required, with shifts ranging from 6–9 hours/day
Hours will be between 7am - 5pm
Monthly schedule provided in advance

Loves being outdoors, stroller walks, crawling, and hands-on exploration (including digging in the dirt!)
Family practices a screen-free lifestyle and follows baby-led weaning
Both parents are physicians with demanding, variable schedules; all work is outside of the home, though one parent may occasionally be home studying
Pet
One 7-year-old Border Collie
Low maintenance; prefers to be ignored initially and warms up over time
No pet care required beyond occasional letting out into the backyard
Responsibilities
Sole focus on attentive, engaging childcare
Planning age-appropriate activities and outings (parks, library, trails, etc.)
Supporting developmental milestones through play and exploration
Maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
Cleaning up after the child and nanny throughout the day (no additional household duties)
Ideal Nanny
Experienced with infants and confident in this developmental stage
Warm, calm, and “aunt-like” presence who feels like part of the family
Independent and proactive, able to take initiative and plan outings
Outdoorsy, active, and aligned with a low-tech, screen-free lifestyle
Reliable, communicative, and adaptable to a variable schedule
Comfortable working alongside parents when they are occasionally home
Familiarity with baby-led weaning is a plus
Additional Notes
This family values a nanny who is both professional and personable—someone who integrates naturally into the home while maintaining clear communication and reliability
Candidates should be comfortable with a hands-off environment, where trust and independence are key
Vaccinations required: TDap, Polio, MMR (flu/COVID preferred but not required)
The family encourages daily outings and exploration
