Nanny & House Manager Wanted for Active, Dynamic Family

Position: Nanny + House Manager
Location: Thornton, CO (potential move to Louisville, CO)
Schedule: Average 30–40 hours/week (custody-based schedule) | Every other weekend needed
Compensation: $35/hour+ DOE | Guaranteed hours
Start Date: Flexible (family is prioritizing fit over speed)

About the Role

We’re seeking a confident, calm, and highly capable Nanny & Household Manager to support a busy, professional family with two children (ages 6 and 3). This is a long-term role for someone who is emotionally grounded, independent, and proactive—a caregiver who can read the room, take initiative, and manage both children and household responsibilities with ease and professionalism.

The children have experienced meaningful transitions over the past year, including their parents’ divorce. They are resilient, bright, and active—and they thrive best with a caregiver who brings patience, warmth, emotional awareness, and a steady presence, especially during moments of big feelings or schedule changes. A nanny who can remain composed, encouraging, and solution-oriented—without becoming overwhelmed or reactive—will do exceptionally well in this home.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked with complex family dynamics before, including divorced or co-parenting households, and who feels comfortable navigating shared schedules, transitions between homes, and clear professional boundaries.

We are especially drawn to candidates who are well-traveled, internationally experienced, or multilingual, as they tend to bring strong independence, adaptability, and confidence—qualities that are deeply valued in this role. Experience traveling with families and managing children in new environments is a major plus.
