Family of four located on the NE side of Minnetonka is looking to welcome a long-term nanny into their family for their 11 month old and 6 year old. The 6 year old spends most of her time in school and summer programs, so most of your time will be spent with the 11 month old, however - during summer there will be pick ups and drop offs needed, as well as some full days when her programming isn’t going on. They are truly looking for an extension of their family, as mom and dad both work very demanding jobs. They are looking for somebody that can take charge while they are gone and make sure the household runs smoothly. Both children are happy and healthy and are full of wonder - they truly have a love for life! They are looking for a nanny that will explore with them, encourage them, and be an extension of the love and respect the parents have shown them thus far - to help develop a healthy sense of self. They live in a brand new house with lots of fun places to explore, including a sport court to play around in and lots of little nooks that allow for creativity! As far as parenting style goes, exposure or experience in RIE (Montessori/Reggio), or openness to learn about it, is a plus! The most important thing to them is making sure their girls are in good hands and enjoying their time - reading lots of books, singing, walks, outdoor time, etc. They are laid back, understanding, respectful and have a lot of fun together as a family. Reliability is of utmost important to them. Looking for someone to help with light housekeeping and cooking, as it pertains to the kids. They are looking for somebody to grow with their family long term - they’d love somebody that is open to a 3-5 year commitment, but they can be flexible for the right fit. Someone spanish-speaking and open to travel with them would be a huge plus, but not a requirement! No pets in the household.
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 40 - 50/hours per week, Between 7:30am - 6pm M-F
Pay Range: $25 - $30/hour
All standard nanny benefits (PTO, sick days, mileage reimbursement).
Requirements:
At least 2+ years verified childcare experience
Non Smoking
21 +
Good standing driver’s license / insurance, reliable/ well maintained vehicle
Up to date on CPR / First aid
Reliability
Good professional & personal references
Authorized to work in the U.S.
