Second Opinion Candidate Vetting
You found your nanny. We’ll make sure.
You’ve done the hard part: you found someone you like. But one interview and a good feeling aren’t always enough when it comes to the person caring for your children. Our Second Opinion service brings a placement professional’s eye to the candidate you’ve already chosen, so you can hire with confidence instead of crossing your fingers.
We don’t try to sell you a different nanny. We give you an honest, independent assessment of yours.
What’s included
In-depth professional interview. We talk with your candidate about childcare philosophy, experience, discipline, safety and how they’d handle real situations. These are the questions most families don’t think to ask.
Thorough reference checks. We call their references ourselves and dig past “she was great,” asking about reliability, communication, why they left and whether the family would hire them again.
Work history review. We look at their background for gaps, inconsistencies or anything that needs a closer look.
Written report and recommendation. You get a clear summary of what we found: strengths, concerns, any red flags, and our honest recommendation.
Debrief call. We go over the findings with you and answer your questions, including what to discuss with the candidate before you hire.
Who it’s for
Families who found a nanny on their own (through a friend, an online platform or a neighbor’s recommendation) and want a professional second opinion before making it official.
Turnaround: 3 business days
Investment: $500
Add-on: Background check, +$200. Want even more peace of mind? Add a background screening to your Second Opinion package.
