Compensation: $33+/hour, depending on experience

The Position
A warm family in the Cherry Creek area is seeking an experienced, dependable full-time nanny to care primarily for their 6-month-old twins. The family also has a 5-year-old son who will attend kindergarten and require only occasional care.
The ideal nanny genuinely loves working with infants and feels calm, capable, and organized while caring for two babies at once. The twins currently follow a fairly structured routine, and the family would like their nanny to maintain consistency with feedings, naps, and daily activities so the babies remain as synchronized as possible.
The family values early learning and is looking for someone who recognizes the developmental opportunities within everyday moments. Days will include plenty of conversation, reading, singing, tummy time, sensory play, outdoor walks, and nurturing one-on-one interaction with each twin. The nanny should support both babies as individuals while also confidently managing their shared routine.

Responsibilities
Providing attentive, nurturing care for the infant twins
Maintaining the twins’ established feeding and nap schedule
Preparing and cleaning bottles and feeding supplies
Diapering and supporting age-appropriate hygiene
Planning developmentally appropriate activities
Incorporating reading, singing, sensory play, tummy time, and outdoor time into each day
Monitoring and supporting each twin’s individual developmental progress
Completing daily tracking of feedings, naps, diapers, activities, and other important updates
Taking the children on walks and to nearby parks within the family’s walkable neighborhood
Occasionally assisting with the family’s 5-year-old son when he is not in school
Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
Completing children’s laundry
Keeping children’s rooms, play areas, and commonly used spaces organized
Assisting with light housekeeping during the children’s naps, as time permits
The Ideal Nanny
The family is seeking someone who is:
Experienced in infant care, with twin or multiple-infant experience strongly preferred
Calm and unruffled while balancing the needs of two babies
Warm, caring, responsible, and dependable
Knowledgeable about infant development and age-appropriate milestones
Organized and comfortable maintaining a consistent schedule
Confident working independently while both parents work from home
Professional, communicative, and respectful of appropriate boundaries
Comfortable setting firm, age-appropriate boundaries without corporal punishment
Interested in developing a loving, meaningful relationship with the children
Willing to maintain standard vaccinations
Comfortable working in a home with a hypoallergenic cat
The family’s older son has a tree-nut allergy, so the nanny must be attentive and comfortable following the family’s food-allergy safety practices.
Additional Details
Both parents work from home and occasionally travel for work. They will be focused on their workdays and do not anticipate significant hands-on involvement while the nanny is present. Although they may occasionally say hello to the children, they understand the importance of maintaining boundaries and allowing the nanny to lead the daily routine.
The children will not typically be driven by the nanny because the neighborhood is highly walkable. On the rare occasion transportation is necessary, the family can provide a vehicle. The family may occasionally invite their nanny to travel, but travel availability is not a requirement for the position.
