A fun-loving single mom in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver is seeking a warm, reliable, and organized part-time nanny and household manager to support her and her two daughters, ages 6 and 5. With their current nanny of 4 years transitioning to a full-time role elsewhere (and happy to provide a reference!), this family is looking for someone to step in and help create a smooth and joyful daily rhythm.
About the Role:
This position is part nanny, part household manager. The girls will begin kindergarten and 1st grade in mid-August, so the core of each day involves school pickup at 2:40 PM and after-school care. Additional hours will be used for household tasks such as:
Light tidying and organization (girls’ rooms and playroom)
Dishes and children’s laundry
Grocery shopping and meal prep
Errands like dry cleaning, dog grooming appointments, etc.
The family has one small, friendly Maltese dog, and the nanny should be comfortable with pets. Mom would love someone who is flexible for occasional later evenings (work events or client dinners) - maybe every other Friday night (happy to talk about guaranteeing this).
About the Girls:
These two sisters are full of personality and heart.
The 6-year-old is strong, loving, and confident.
The 5-year-old is sweet, sensitive, and easygoing.
They love to play, dance, laugh, and stay active with activities like gymnastics and cheer.
The Ideal Nanny:
The family is looking for someone who is:
Caring, kind, and dependable
Highly organized and proactive
Fun, positive, and engaged
Comfortable running household errands and managing light tasks
Open to occasional travel (nice to have, not required)
While the household has a laid-back, lived-in feel, mom appreciates cleanliness and structure. The ideal nanny values a balance of fun and responsibility, and genuinely enjoys being around children and supporting a vibrant family life.
Bonus: One of the girls has mild asthma, so a nanny who’s attentive and comfortable supporting that when needed is ideal.
This is a truly lovely opportunity for someone seeking a long-term, part-time role with a kind, welcoming family who values consistency and care.
