Part-Time Housekeeper Needed | Thornton (Moving to Louisville in Fall)

A warm and busy family in Broomfield is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their household long term. The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating organized, clean, and well-run home environments and takes pride in noticing what needs to be done without needing constant direction.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, trustworthy, and comfortable working collaboratively in a staffed home alongside a nanny. The family values professionalism, reliability, and someone who will become a long-term and dependable part of their household team.

The family will relocate to Louisville this fall, so applicants must be comfortable with the future commute/location transition.

Schedule

The family is seeking approximately 12–16 hours per week with flexibility for the right fit.

Preferred schedules include:

• Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Friday — approximately 3 hours per day
  OR

• Monday through Friday — approximately 3 hours per day

The family is very flexible overall and prioritizes more frequent shorter visits over fewer longer shifts.

Preferred working hours are between:

• 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  (when the home is generally quieter and less occupied)

Compensation

• $25+/hour DOE

• Guaranteed 45–60 hours per month initially

• Potential for increased guaranteed hours once the family moves into their new home

Responsibilities

This role will focus on maintaining a clean, organized, and smoothly functioning household. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited too:

• Laundry / washing, folding, steaming, and putting away

• Making beds and changing linens

• Unpacking from trips

• Keeping household items stocked

• Kitchen cleaning and organization 

• Bathroom cleaning and sanitizing

• General tidying and household reset

• Maintaining overall cleanliness and organization throughout the home

• Taking initiative with household tasks and identifying what needs attention

• Using natural/non-toxic cleaning products preferred by the family
