Nanny & House Manager Wanted for Active, Busy Thornton Family

Position: Nanny + House Manager
Location: Thornton, CO
Schedule: Average 30–40 hours per week (varies with custody/family schedules) — Every Other Weekend Needed
Compensation: $30–$37/hour DOE | $4,200–$4,800/month guaranteed (potentially higher for the right fit)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly organized, proactive, and flexible Nanny & Household Manager to become the backbone of a busy, professional family’s home in Thornton. This role blends hands-on childcare with household management—caring for two children (ages 6 and 3) while ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently.

The children have experienced a lot of change over the past year, including their parents’ divorce and several transitions in care. They would truly benefit from a nanny who brings patience, empathy, and emotional awareness—someone who can help them feel safe, understood, and supported as they continue to adjust. A caregiver who is confident navigating big emotions and committed to building trust over time will thrive here.

This position is best suited for someone who has been around growing families before—someone a bit more established in life, with at least five years of professional nanny experience and a solid understanding of the rhythm of family life. Experience working for busy professional parents with demanding, ever-changing schedules is key. You’ll need to balance structure with flexibility, organization with warmth, and independence with teamwork.

If you love creating calm from chaos, take pride in anticipating needs before they’re spoken, and want to make a meaningful impact on both children and parents, this position will be a perfect fit.
