About the Family
A warm and welcoming family in Golden is seeking an experienced, reliable, and proactive full-time nanny to care for their sweet 7-month-old son, while helping to support the family’s smooth day-to-day rhythm. They also have a spirited and affectionate 4-year-old daughter who attends preschool full-time (8:30 AM–4:30 PM).
Both parents work from home—dad runs a car detailing business, and mom manages community and volunteer projects from a home office. The family lives in a unique co-housing community surrounded by gardens, walking paths, and open spaces—a truly beautiful and family-friendly environment where everyone knows each other.
The Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for a nanny who feels like a true teammate—someone experienced with infants, confident working alongside parents, and comfortable stepping into a “third parent” role. You’re warm, dependable, and self-motivated—someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative to help. You love the outdoors and enjoy going on walks or playing outside. You communicate openly and honestly and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback. Experience with sleep training, daily routines, and early developmental milestones is a big plus.
Key Responsibilities
Provide loving, attentive care for the family’s 7-month-old baby boy
Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and outdoor time each day
Support baby-led weaning by preparing simple, healthy meals for the baby
Light child-related household tasks, such as:
Baby laundry and linens
Washing bottles and dishes
Tidying up play areas
Helping prep the preschooler’s lunch when time allows
Light daily tracking of naps and sleep in an app
Occasionally assist with date-night coverage or overnights (optional but preferred)
Schedule & Flexibility
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week). The family’s ideal schedule includes one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) in exchange for a weekday off (e.g., Monday or Friday). They value flexibility and may adjust hours slightly based on family needs, but schedules will always be communicated in advance.

Qualifications
3+ years of professional nanny experience (infant experience required)
Strong understanding of infant development, routines, and sleep schedules
CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Fully vaccinated (standard immunizations, including MMR and Tdap)
Excellent communication and time management skills
Reliable, proactive, and enjoys being part of a family team
Comfortable with light household support and maintaining an organized environment
Flexibility for date nights, travel, and occasional overnights
